Halloween, California and more.

We started our trip in California really nice! Look at those two on lounge chairs in the beautiful California weather.

I am so excited for Karley and Christian. She is due in a little over a month. I can't wait and I know she is going to be a great Mom. In honor of her and their son, we threw a baby shower. It was airplane themed and so much fun!

Here is my attempt at being cool. It is supposed to be the prop of a plane, but apparently chocolate is harder to work with than they make it look on Food Network.

The yummy snacks and cake went here.

This says "Baggage Claim." It's where her gifts went.

Jimmy made this. He is so talented!

Our punch was the "Jet Fuel."

The is the sign for everyone leaving and arriving!

These are our "In-flight Meals."

The shower was fun and not because of the theme. We are always excited to add a new person to our family! They bring love and joy and I'm sure he will melt my heart like all of my other nieces and nephews already have!

Look at this happy boy! He is like this most of the time! I love it!

I love my little guy! He is so ambitious holding his head up already! He didn't even get mad when he couldn't do it anymore. He just laid his head down and started licking the carpet, at which point I decide he had enough tummy time.

Jocelyn only wants pictures taken when she is good and ready and I guess she wasn't ready.

I am on an exercise ball with both of them trying to bounce. It was hard and funny.

This is one of our favorite places to go and I couldn't be more happy about it since I am constantly reading.

Jocelyn's favorite thing to do is to talk to this "kid" and play for a couple of minutes and she never forgets to give him a kiss or say goodbye.

She is such a big girl. She can get her own chair and move it where she wants.

Halloween morning-these two were cuddling. So cute!

Her princess hair! It looked really cute and she loved it.

She was all ready for the festivities to start.

Our lanterns! They looked cool when it got dark.

Ezra and I matched and were cowboy and cowgirl, respectively.

Our Silly Times

Jocelyn loves to dance and she loves Ezra, so naturally she loves to dance with Ezra.

Jocelyn fell asleep like this watching TV the other day! She was so tired!

Where's Ezra? Jocelyn wanted Ezra to hang out with a couple of her friends, so she just kept piling more and more stuffed animals on him.

Jocelyn somehow always manages to get her little fingers on the camera and takes pictures of everything. I think I deleted about 130 pictures off the camera the other day just because she had taken that many-in less than 10 minutes! Here are a couple of pictures of Ezra that Jocelyn took that actually looks okay.

Jocelyn and I made a queen crown. It was great and now she says she is no longer a princess but a queen.

She was really excited to make it.

We recycled crayons. It was so easy! We just microwaved them in cupcake holders. Can you call it a Halloween craft because we used Halloween cupcake holders?

So Jocelyn now likes to take baths in our baby tub. It is hilarious. I don't really mind because she actually lets me wash her hair.

Jocelyn always wants to play with Ezra on his play mat. They do this almost everyday.

Our New Little Guy

This is our family-the updated version.

After nine long months, Ezra Wendell is here! We are excited to have him home and are learning how to be around a newborn again. It is an adventure and I think we're all going through a roller coaster of emotions. Here are some pictures to see what I mean!

And this is what happens when Jocelyn gets a hold of the camera. Wow! They aren't the best pictures, but I thought they were a pretty funny series.

Jocelyn wants to hold her brother everyday! It is so cute-except when she gets rough, but I love that she wants to pay attention to him. It's great!

Jocelyn wanted Ezra to look at the camera. She is already teaching him new tricks.

Does she look comfy or what? And there I am in the background comfy too!

She is usually so tender with him. Until she gets bored and tries to pick him up and hand him to me. Then it gets scary.

We gave Ezra his first bath! He liked it for about 30 seconds and decided that was enough for him.

I had to put this picture up because it captured the emotion that Ezra was evoking. He was not happy!

And the best part! He was clean and getting happy.

This is "Grandma Claud." She is Jocelyn's swim teacher and also her friend.
