Mama and Emily's visit.

We had a great visit with Mama and Emily. We were able to see Jason and Yasco and their beautiful son Cooper. It was cute, Jocelyn and Cooper slept on the couch together and you can see the difference in the size of a newborn verses a two year old! So fun!

So much to catch up on!

Jocelyn loves to hang out with the neighbor kids. As always, she is wearing a dress and I thought some of these were too cute not to put up...so here they are!

Hair Cut!

So I have been tired of Jocelyn's hair. It was uneven and sometimes just looked mangey. So, while I was at Sally's Beauty Supply I decided to get a new pair of hair cutting scissors. Well, here's what happened!
This was before we even started. I guess she wasn't excited.

I ended up cutting like two inches off which was a little unintentional, but I just wanted to make sure it was straight. Luckily her hair is somewhat curly on the bottom so it is a little forgiving.

One of the great things about living in the Valley is that we can barbeque any time of the year. So we had this great dinner and I thought I would share the recipe with everyone. We loved it! We made Teriyaki Burgers! It was great. We put the marinade/sauce in the raw hamburger meat. We bought a fresh pineapple and grilled both of those. I put a little ground ginger on the top of my burger and I was amazed. Check these things out!

Little Mermaid

One of Jocelyn's favorite movies is Little Mermaid. This is what I found her doing with her fork this morning at breakfast! And then she started singing "Part of Your World." I love this girl!




So of course I turned it on for her and she was so happy! She loves to sing-along with the movie!

Apple Cinnamon Pancakes

So Jocelyn and I were making our favorite breakfast-applesauce and cinnamon pancakes-this morning and I thought it was awesome how willing she was to help. It's actually a funny series of pictures. She is our little model.

And last...the damage. Luckily, it wasn't too bad. She tried to keep it all in the same area. I love it!
